Compliance with NF Z 42-013 and ISO 14641-1 standards

CDC Arkhinéo, a trusted third-party archiver and subsidiary of Caisse des Dépôts, having obtained the 'France Cybersecurity' label is taking the next step by obtaining the certification NF 461 - Electronic archiving system for third parties. It is the third service provider on the market to receive this distinction and the only one to have obtained it for three data centres.

The NF 461 is issued by Afnor Certification. It certifies compliance with the NF Z42-013 standard and its international equivalent ISO 14641-1, both benchmarks when it comes to electronic archiving. They define all the technical and organisational measures required for an Electronic Archiving System (EAS), namely uploading, storage, consultation, modification, return and destruction of a document while maintaining its probative value. The NF 461 is a guarantee of integrity, sustainability, traceability, legibility and security for the stored documents.

"Archiving with probative value is a fundamental component of the development of the digital economy. The NF 461 certification gives our current and future clients a guarantee that CDC Arkhinéo fully complies with French and international regulations for electronic archiving," stated Charles du Boullay, CEO of CDC Arkhinéo.
